Statistics: Russian retail sales rise 5.6% to 2.915 tln rbl in March
MOSCOW, Apr 27 (PRIME) -- Russian retail sales increased by 5.6% on the year and 10.2% on the month to 2.915 trillion rubles in comparable prices in March, the Federal State Statistics Service said on Monday.
In January–March, retail sales went up 4.3% on the year to 8.179 trillion rubles in comparable prices.
The authority also revised its estimates of the year-on-year growth of retail sales in 2019 to 1.9% from 1.6%, in January 2020 to 2.6% from 2.7%, and in February 2020 to 4.6% from 4.7%.
